The outback national parks and reserves of the Goldfields region are characterised by golden plains, eucalypt forests, freshwater swamps and salt lakes. Surprisingly rich in plant and animal life, you’ll find tiny, fragile looking marsupials hiding in the undergrowth, bush birds flitting through the branches and water birds migrating for miles to reach the wetlands and waterways.
The Goldfield’s vast network of national parks and conservation reserves includes:
Boorabbin National Park | Burra Rock Conservation Park
Credo Conservation Park | Goldfields Woodlands National Park
Goongarrie National Park | Kalgoorlie Arboretum
