The Coolgardie Visitor Centre is located on Bayley Street and has a lot to offer including: a three-dimensional layout of the old Coolgardie town, stories of collections/old buildings, images and a photo gallery. A museum upstairs was opened in Easter 1977 at its current location and in the Old Court room you will find Australia's premier bottle collection that began in 1954.
Coolgardie Visitor Centre also offers a booking service for visitors needing to travel by Transwa, the Prospector train and Great Southern Railways.
Advice on local road conditions can also be provided should you wish to visit a number of natural attractions such as the Gnarlbine Soaks, Victoria Rocks or Rowle's Lagoon.
Coolgardie Visitor Centre is open Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4pm, 10am to 3pm on weekends and closed during public holidays.
