As you take off from the iconic Esperance waterfront helipad, you will immediately appreciate the spectacular views of the coastal town of Esperance. The flight will orbit Esperance taking in Woody Lake, Windabout Lakes, Lake Warden and the Town Pink Lake (Lake Spencer).
As you fly back towards the coast you will see the pristine waters of the Southern Ocean and Recherche Archipelago before returning to the Esperance foreshore.

Depart from the helipad from the Esperance Foreshore in Esperance Bay and discover the turquoise coast from above as you fly toward Woody Island.
Upon arrival on the island, enjoy morning tea on the deck of the visitor’s centre looking out over Shearwater Bay.
Join an informative guided walking tour, learning about the history of the island while discovering the local wildlife on this unique Nature Reserve. Next, you’ll enjoy some free time choosing to snorkel with the abundant marine life in the bay, try your hand at fishing off our jetty or just sit back and relax, unwind and take in the views.
Cap-off your Woody Island Adventure with a refreshing drink at Black Jacks Bar (fully licensed) or a bite to eat from the waterfront kiosk, before returning to Esperance by ferry.
Departs Esperance Foreshore at 9:30am and returns to Esperance at 4:30pm.
Departing from the iconic helipad in Esperance Bay, you'll discover aerial views of Cape Le Grand National Park, the most visited national park in Esperance.
Fly past impressive natural landforms including Frenchman Peak, Lucky Bay and Hellfire Bay before returning back over the rugged coastline to Esperance.
As you depart the helipad in Esperance Bay and track towards Cape Le Grand National Park you can see the impressive chain of granite peaks including Mount Le Grand and Frenchman Peak. You will be in awe of the sheer size of these impressive natural rock formations.
Admire the sweeping heathlands and wild coastal scenery as you fly past Lucky Bay, Thistle Cove and Hellfire Bay. As you track west, you will fly back past Mount Le Grand and Recherche Archipelago then on to Butty Harbour, Nine Mile Beach, Twilight Bay and Blue Haven before returning to the Esperance Bay helipad.
Meet the helicopter at Orleans Airfield for an unforgettable flight to Lake Hillier, the ‘real’ pink lake in the Esperance region. This 15-minute flight to Middle Island takes you over the rugged coastal scenery that Cape Arid National Park is known for - Yokinup Bay, Cape Arid and Recherche Archipelago. As you approach Middle Island your pilot will orbit Lake Hillier and land on a natural rock platform where you will be guided to the edge of the pink lake. Your guide will tell you some amazing history about Middle Island including the story about Black Jack Anderson, Australia’s only known pirate!
Your 15-minute return flight to Orleans Airport gives a different perspective as you track back to the rugged coastline and past Tagon Point. This is a trip you will never forget.
