Helen Ansell is a regional Western Australian artist whose vibrant paintings capture the spirit of native Western Australian flora and fauna. Helen has strong ties to indigenous communities having grown up in Ululla, a remote aboriginal community in central Western Australia.
As a child, she was and still is inspired by the wild desert landscape. Helen now lives with her family in Mullewa, the centre of the Coral Coast's wildflower country. She is passionate about supporting regional communities and has taken part in large scale public art projects, gallery showings and supplies a number of Western Australian retailers with her designs and prints.
Helen's father, Don Miller has lived and worked in the Australian outback for most of his life. It is Don's knowledge of Australian botany that has helped shape Helen's unique artistic lens. Don has carefully curated information on the native flora and fauna of Western Australia. Each Helen Ansell Fine Art Print comes with personalised information about the native plants and animals seen in the artwork.
All Helen Ansell Fine Art Prints are Giclée Quality prints, available on both paper and canvas. Using archival ink, all have a lightfastness under glass, away from direct sunlight of greater than 200 years. Made in Australia with love and quality materials.
