The old railway line that once connected Narrogin and Collie once passed through West Arthur, in the southern Wheatbelt.
It's been given a new lease of life and developed into a multi-use walk/bike/horse trail, known as the Collie to Darkan Rail Trail.
The trail extends west from Darkan to Buckingham (45km) and passes through jarrah forests and farmlands. East from Darkan, the rail trail extends 15km to Dardadine.
During springtime, the wildflowers abound and the farm views are gloriously green.
