Camping Sites Available to Visitors during Wildflower Season
During Wildflower Season, July to October, the Morawa Caravan Park located at White Ave (off Winfield St), can be very busy, however, alternative short term camp sites are also available:
Canna Travelling North from Morawa town site you will need to drive approximately 40km. Once you turn onto Offszanka Road drive a further 3km to the camping sites which are located at the old Canna town site.
Here you will find an ablution block with hot showers, flushing toilets, and drinking water available. There is a BBQ (bring your own gas) and 15 Amp power outlets available for use for a donation. Please note that the site is for single overnight stays only and the nearest water, dump point and rubbish disposal point is at Morawa. No booking is required (unless a caravan club is coming) and sites are self serve. Check Canna WA - Wildflower Country on Facebook for seasonal updates.
Koolanooka Springs - To get to Koolanooka Springs you need to travel east from the town of Morawa on Jones Lake Road, turn left into Fallon Road, and then right into Koolanooka Springs Road. The distance is approximately 28km from Morawa town. Available at this site are ablutions and wood BBQs.
